**Senior .NET Developer - Hybrid (Walsall)**
We're hiring a Senior .NET Developer to modernise core systems in a high-growth tech platform environment. This is a permanent role with £50-60k salary and genuine hybrid flexibility (2 days office). ?

Our client operates a cutting-edge digital platform managing £6bn+ in assets across 12,000+ users. They've achieved record-breaking growth, adding £1bn annually whilst outperforming major competitors.
This venture-backed business has built sophisticated automation systems (25,500+ lines of internal code) and is now scaling rapidly through strategic modernisation.
**Tech Stack You'll Work With:**
• .NET Framework 4.8 & .NET Core
• C# MVC, Web Forms, Blazor
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Azure deployment & CI/CD pipelines
• JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• API development & architecture
• Ruby/Rails (legacy maintenance)
• Entity Framework, AutoMapper
• XUnit testing frameworks
**What You'll Actually Do**
Build and maintain backend .NET systems handling billions in transactional data.
Lead the migration from .NET Framework to modern .NET Core architecture, creating robust API layers that save 5+ hours weekly through automation.
Fix critical bugs in core products whilst ensuring compliance standards across legacy and modern systems.
Work directly with the Lead Developer on greenfield projects, including exploring React migration opportunities and AI integration for internal processes.
**Must-Have Experience:**
• 3+ years commercial .NET development
• Both Framework 4.8 and .NET Core experience
• MVC and Web Forms knowledge
• Frontend skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Strong problem-solving mindset
**Nice-to-Have:**
• Azure deployment experience
• React or modern JavaScript frameworks
• Ruby knowledge for legacy systems
• Financial services background
• CI/CD pipeline expertise
